How Competitive Are Sports

I know that the intensity increases at its highest point on game day because you want to win, but how competitive can practice get when you go against the same players everyday of the week on every play. The coaches want you to play as if you are playing in the game and do it correct as well, but doesn't it get harder in practice everyday because the person across from you knows how you play and can use that in an advantage against you. I understand that you progress your skills in practice as the year continues but when players go hard in practice the speed might be the same but its a different feeling in practice.

Risks in Professional Sports

There are plenty of benefits for being a professional athlete. At the same time professionals have a lot to live up to. Everyone is watching them all the time. They have to be careful at all times because if they mess up, then the whole world might think otherwise of him or her. Look at the Micheal Vick situation, long before he got in trouble for dog fighting, dog fighting has been going on all over the US, but when a pro is involved, he gets in trouble. At that time, almost everyone hated him but what about those others out there in the world that are probably still participating in dog fighting.

What's more reliable

Which one would you rather use, the Internet or a book source. I know that more people are using the Internet more in today's world, but why isn't that some people say that the Internet is better to use more than a book source, or magazine, etc.. I think they are even, even though I use the Internet more often, some of the sites, anyone can change it, but the book can't change unless it's someone write an edited version of it. I think both of these sources a great to use when doing some research on a particular topic.

Relationships in college

Everyone has their opinion on being in a relationship while in college. Yes I understand that college is suppose to be on of your best memories of your life. Do you think that being in a relationship make you feel trapped or hold you back from having a good time with your peers. In my opinion, it doesn't matter if you're in a relationship or not. Sometimes having someone is the best thing because you already have problems in college worrying about your academics standards or the sport you play, some might not won't the extra drama in their lives.

Life Isn't Guarenteed

Just like all the other major disasters that happen in the world, the other day, a football player from Connecticut got stabbed after he played in Saturday's game and died on Sunday. Always know that there's someone out there in the world that is jealous of you for what you do, and at any chance they get they won't to destroy you life. So just because the person you don't know who wants to interfere in your life doesn't mean that they know you. Wherever you go be careful and choose your friends wisely.

High school to College

When I first got here for football, I didn't know how practice was going to be. Now I realize that the difference from high school and college is that, everybody is moving around, its not just the players that play. Another thing is that everyone job is important even if you are on the scout team giving the offense or the defense the look they need to prepare for the games on Saturdays.

Controlling your destiny

As you go through life, there's times when have earned a position/job or someone has given you an opportunity in a certain situation. It might be involved in sports, or big time companies, etc. Even though you have earned or given the opportunity to maintain the position or job, it's still up to you to fulfill all the requirements for that specific job, because there's always someone in the world that can do the same job just as well as you can.
